Research Compliance

Supporting Compliance at NKU

Welcome to Research Compliance (RC) at NKU! Operating within the Office of Research, Grants and Contracts (RGC), we strive to promote a culture of compliance and ethical research methods.

RC administrators provide consultation, oversight, and support to faculty, staff, and students working on research with human subjects, animals, and biosafety as it relates to the use of recombinant DNA, biological toxins, microorganisms and infectious agents.

Research Compliance staff maintains and monitors all research protocols and provides ongoing support to individuals to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Compliance staff also provides guidance on protocol preparation, ongoing educational sessions related to research, and assistance with federal compliance training for research and grant activity as well as laboratory safety training.
