Don't Miss a Great Opportunity!
The Office of Research, Grants and Contracts (RGC) encourages undergraduate and graduate students to undertake research and creative projects that will contribute new insights into the student's chosen academic field. With the guidance of a faculty member who shares the student's interest, the student is eligible to apply for RGC's student grant opportunities which include the Student Undergraduate Research & Creativity Award (SURCA), the Graduate Student Research Grant (GSRG), the Summer Undergraduate Research/Creativity Fellowship (SURF) and the Student Presentation/Publication Award (SPPA). For more information regarding the guidelines, eligibility and deadlines for submission click on the related links to the right.
Grants are available to NKU students who will complete the project prior to graduation. Should the student be awarded a RGC student research grant, the project must be presented at the Celebration of Student Research and Creativity event held in April of each year.
Celebration of Student Research & Creativity: This annual event highlights graduate and undergraduate student achievements in a broad array of scholarly and creative activities. Students display their work through posters, oral presentations, interactive demonstrations, performances and exhibits of artistic work.
